Obama sells out the women

Family planning money may be dropped:
House Democrats are likely to jettison family planning funds for the low-income from an $825 billion economic stimulus bill, officials said late Monday, following a personal appeal from President Barack Obama at a time the administration is courting Republican critics of the legislation.
I love the smell of bipartisanship in the morning.

  1. What's amazing to me is that some Obamaholics think this is all part of some ingenious double-reverse political jiujitsu by Obama:

  2. What amazes me is that the House GOP says that they are in lockstep to oppose the stimulus bill in ANY configuration. Fuck 'em. Put everything back.

At least they have the courage of their convictions.

  4. I agree with James. I mean, it is one thing to try and get bipartisan support by changing the bill, but when the GOP votes and not a SINGLE fucking GOP House member votes for the bill anyway, put the fucker back in. Put EVERYTHING in that Dems want and ignore the fuckhead GOP. Use that as a hammer. Say if you won't vote for my bill, I'll just put in EVERYTHING you hate anyway because what's the difference? If he does that, I'll respect him.

  5. The system is so badly rigged at this point that even if we elected Larry Hamelin as president, nothing would really change.

I like Barack Obama. He seems like a really nice guy. It's a mistake to think that he's Che Guevara. Even if he were, it wouldn't matter. Giving credit where due, I have to admire the capitalists. That's the genius of it all.

I once saw a bumper sticker which urged readers: 'Don't vote, it only encourages them!' If the seed of reality behind this phrase isn't obvious by now, I don't know when it ever will be.

  6. In other news, Obama just signed the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, which passed with a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate with all Democrats and every woman in the GOP voting for it.

  7. I'm a woman. I'm a mother. Any one who loves women loves motherhood. Any one who loves women loves girls. Any one who loves women and girls loves babies.

Anyone who doesn't love women, girls, and babies murders them.

    They are one.

They cannot be divided. One must be for all or one is against all.

To call for the murder of one is to call for the murder of all. They are one. A woman who murders her own baby murders herself - her own flesh and blood.

  8. Grace: We can talk about abortion another day, but this issue is about contraception, not abortion.

Is English your second language? Or are you just stupid?
