The Stupid! It Burns! (inner growth edition)

the stupid! it burns! The Atheist’s Mistake
It's Deepak Chopra; it has to be stupid. Let's have a look...
By making belief in God their enemy, atheists deprive themselves of what spirituality is really about: a process of inner growth.
Oh yeah, Chopra does not disappoint!

  1. Ah, childish mockery and plagiarism. Atheism at its finest. :)

Let me know if you are interested in a Skype debate on atheism. It should be easy since what this author wrote is so stupid and I am in agreement with him.

Thanks for the link to the post.

  2. When various people hold a variety of different viewpoints on some issue (such as religion), it seems there are always some who make sure to occupy some middle ground between everyone, and will even seem full of pride that they are considered heretical and outsiders to all those other "camps." In reality though, by seeing opposing groups and assuming that the truth must lie in the middle of them, they are really just politicizing truth instead of discovering it. They just do not see that there really is a true and a false, and one person can be right and another wrong. Evidence and reason best determines truth, not staking out middle ground between everyone with an asshole...I mean opinion.

  4. Yes, this Deepak paghaal is a little downclass and a fool. He's just spinning stuff and people are buying all he's feel good clap trap nonsense. I think another, it's his hindustani 'auroa' of wisdom. Huh, if we're so wise as desis, how come we're so messed up then?
So why do people buy his books and stuff?
Er, why do people take weight loss advise from Dr. Phil?

Please pick a handle or moniker for your comment. It's much easier to address someone by a name or pseudonym than simply "hey you". I have the option of requiring a "hard" identity, but I don't want to turn that on... yet.

With few exceptions, I will not respond or reply to anonymous comments, and I may delete them. I keep a copy of all comments; if you want the text of your comment to repost with something vaguely resembling an identity, email me.

No spam, pr0n, commercial advertising, insanity, lies, repetition or off-topic comments. Creationists, Global Warming deniers, anti-vaxers, Randians, and Libertarians are automatically presumed to be idiots; Christians and Muslims might get the benefit of the doubt, if I'm in a good mood.

See the Debate Flowchart for some basic rules.

Sourced factual corrections are always published and acknowledged.

I will respond or not respond to comments as the mood takes me. See my latest comment policy for details. I am not a pseudonomous-American: my real name is Larry.

Comments may be moderated from time to time. When I do moderate comments, anonymous comments are far more likely to be rejected.

I've already answered some typical comments.

I have jqMath enabled for the blog. If you have a dollar sign (\$) in your comment, put a \\ in front of it: \\\$, unless you want to include a formula in your comment.
