Christian fucktard rides again

Yes, the Christian fucktard is at it again, spewing logical fallacies, lies and distortions as fast as he can type. His latest pile of verbal diarrhea concerns the imagined relationship between communism and atrocity. (As an aside, I'd rather lose my temper than my power of rational thought.)

The author first goes on to assert that "All totalitarian systems that murdered massive numbers of people have been atheistic..." This is simply false. The Middle Ages were marked by religious totalitarian feudalism. Hitler, while having many weird theological views, was certainly no atheist, nor were millions of his willing followers. The (supposedly) Christian United States murdered millions of civilians in World War II, actually using nuclear weapons to kill a hundred thousand of those civilians. The Bible itself countenances, and the fictional character of Yahweh often commands indiscriminate mass slaughter; Yahweh himself wipes out the entire population of the world save a handful.

We could quibble over numbers until the sun goes dark, but the attribution of atheism to all totalitarian regimes goes beyond mistake or fallacy to incompetence or mendacity.

(See Was atheism the cause of 20th century atrocities?: "Arendt’s Totalitarianism, which stands as 'the definitive account of the philosophical origins of the totalitarian mind,' never once mentions atheism.")

The fucktard's only way to wriggle out is that killing in the name of God is never "murder". He must disapprove of (some) mass killing only because it was not properly authorized: Hitler's did not err in killing the Jews per se, he erred only in not filling out the requisite paperwork.

The fucktard goes on to say, "...because the content of the worldview (materialism) does not forbid it." But this attribution of cause goes beyond the fallacious to the insane." The content of the materialistic worldview does not, for example, forbid me smearing my body with blue woad and charging naked into battle, but I do not actually do so.

He spends quite some time proving that Marx, Lenin, Mao and other communistic intellectuals were hostile to religion. No shit, Sherlock. Marx et al. were not hostile to religion simply because they were atheists (nor were they atheists simply on a whim), they were hostile to religion because they saw religion as contributing intentionally and substantially to the exploitation of the masses by ruling classes throughout history. It is crystal clear that their hostility towards religion was motivated by empathy towards the victims of religious persecution, exploitation and oppression. It is logically possible that they were mistaken, but the fucktard's position is possible only if he had read only tendentious and biased representations of their work, or, in typically religious fashion, simply makes up facts to suit his position.

The fucktard asserts that "Communism is a system of economics built upon materialist atheism... [Marx's] economic views emerged directly from his metaphysics," displaying an ignorance of communism and Marx's writing equal to his ignorance of atheism and materialism, indeed equal to his ignorance of logical reasoning, evidence, or basic standards of intellectual honesty.

Exactly. When I pointed that out to him using almost precisely the same words as you, he deleted my response. THEN he goes on to make a NEW post in the form of some sham debate with me, omitting of course my response.

    Pious fraud strikes again.

  2. I don't comment on blogs like WK's. I can't fault him for deleting comments; I do the same. But if I'm going to take the trouble to criticize a fucktard like him, I'd prefer to know my writing is under my own control.

This is what i explicitly show in me novel, i used the Crusades as a metaphur for the war against the Soviet Union with the Knights Templars as the SS. I model the defeat of the Crusaders in 1247 at Manusra on Stalingrad.
Pyschologicaly and culturally, from the Crusades to Hitlers stuff- its the SAME phenonema.

And yet, it seems like such an appropriate response!

But, but... Hegel! For fuck's sake, I'm not even a communist and this guy pisses me off.

Please pick a handle or moniker for your comment. It's much easier to address someone by a name or pseudonym than simply "hey you". I have the option of requiring a "hard" identity, but I don't want to turn that on... yet.

With few exceptions, I will not respond or reply to anonymous comments, and I may delete them. I keep a copy of all comments; if you want the text of your comment to repost with something vaguely resembling an identity, email me.
